Covid-19 Health & Safety

To ensure the safety of our customers and staff, we are following all local, state and CDC guidelines.

Our Team:

  • All staff will wear a face mask, face shield AND protective gloves

  • We are Barbicide Certified

  • Temperature checks and CT state Covid-19 proximity questionnaires are required prior to each shift

  • If an employee shows any symptom of Covid-19 they will be required to stay home and quarantine for the minimum number of days per CDC guidelines

  • Each staff member has the freedom to limit the services they provide to only those they feel comfortable performing 


Our Salon:

  • Prior to opening AND after closing the entire salon, including each workstation, will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected

  • Cleaning and disinfection of each workstation, reception area, and restroom will be done after each client is seen

  • We have set up two workstations in separated areas of the salon to help ensure social distancing is practiced

  • Due to state guidelines, extra amenities such as the coffee, water, magazines, and any other touch-points have been removed

  • If a client arrives early, our waiting room inside will be closed but seating will be placed outside based on social distancing guidelines

  • All retail items are no longer displayed but are still available for purchase upon request

  • A plexiglass barrier has been installed at the reception desk

  • All workstations, receptions desk, and restrooms have been outfitted with hand sanitizer for staff and client use


Our Clients:

  • We ask our clients to not come in if they are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms or may have been in contact with someone who has within 14 days of their appointment

  • When clients arrive they must call before entering the salon to ensure the previous appointment has concluded and the workstation has been disinfected

  • All clients must be wearing a mask or "face covering" before entering the salon; if a client does not have one or forgot theirs, we will provide one for a fee of $1.00

  • Appointments will be scheduled with enough time to thoroughly clean and sanitize the workspace, tools and other shared equipment

  • Each client will be given a different disposable cape for each appointment
